Hugo Boss have a new perfume - it’s a limited edition version of their recent release Boss Orange - It’s name as I’m sure most of you are aware is the Celebration of Happiness. This could well be happiness in a bottle. Unfortunately I’m not sure I will ever find out!
The point of this little ramble is that I am and have been for some time in pursuit of a new scent. My signature perfume is DKNY Delicious - the original apple/ vanilla mix that is everything I love in a perfume. Fresh, fruity, young and lasts for an age on the skin. However, being the fickle female I am, I quite fancy a change - this however has proved better in theory than in practice. I like fruity - but I dislike orange based scents which just don’t suit me so I’m left with very few options. Cue the celebration of happiness - described as a peach/ vanilla mix which sounds oh so appealing. Problem is I just can’t find a tester - I have shopped several department stores etc in search of the merest whiff of this baby but instead I find shelf after shelf of boxes all neatly wrapped and sealed in cellophane - do these stores believe consumers will spend their hard earned cash without trying before they buy? Do you? I won’t, so until the day I find that delightfully decorative bottle out of the box, happiness remains just a pursuit.
